Founded by former Duke Blue Devils Mark Allen, Gregg Schmalz and Joseph Siletto, Blue Devil Lacrosse Academy is an organization committed to helping young players succeed in their mission to take their game to the next level and to become the best lacrosse players, teammates and people that they can be by playing with passion, competitive spirit, and humility.
The Blue Devil Lacrosse Academy is NOT a club team. We are a skill development organization designed to get experienced players in grades 4-12 additional training during the off-season so they can excel for both their town and club teams.
We run weekly sessions at one location with tailored skill development regiments designed to hone essential, core competencies in a high energy, fun environment with no game or tryout pressure. Our mission is to transfer our collective knowledge of lacrosse honed over 30 years of playing and coaching at the division 1 and elite club level.
Our sessions are designed for high coach to player ratios (no more than 10:1) and can be set up in self-selected groups of friends/players as well as general sessions where players can make new friends and train with new players.
The Blue Devil Academy coaching staff has decades of experience coaching youth lacrosse from grade school through high school. Through personal experience of having played at a premier Division 1 school, our staff knows what it takes to elevate one’s lacrosse game to the next level and we are excited to transfer that knowledge to the next generation of lacrosse players in the Boston area.
