Mark has been involved with lacrosse for over 33 years. In high school, Mark was a two sport athlete at Wilton High School in Connecticut. He was an All-State football player and two time Lacrosse All American. In 1992 Mark was part of the gold medal winning U-19 USA boys lacrosse team defeating Team Canada 24-11.
Mark continued his lacrosse career at Duke University where he played all four years and served as captain his senior year. As captain, Mark helped to lead the team to Duke’s first ACC Championship victory in 1995 and at the time the highest seed (#4) in the program’s NCAA tournament history. After graduating school Mark played for several different clubs in the CT, NY area.
Today, Mark lives in Needham with his wife and daughter. He is currently a board member of the Needham Girls Youth Lacrosse Organization and has coached for three years. Mark is also a member of The Village Club in Needham that helps to support various youth athletics organizations throughout the year.
Side note: Just like Gregg, Mark also has a dog named Duke.
